On arrival at this record breaking venue you will be greeted by a scenic lake of some five acres nestled amongst lush green fields.
Having secured an agreement with the owner of the Lake allows us to use two rods fishing a combination of live and dead bait tactics throughout the entire day. Employing live / dead bait tactics ensures you experience spectacular action from a variety of native and imported predatory species. Massive Arapaima gigas are accounted for on a regular basis on these tactics in addition to Redtail catfish, Sorubim and Giant Snakehead.
We have accounted for several Arapaima gigas of a world record size from this record breaking venue with weights to an estimated 150kg. The lake benefits from a spectacular stocking of various predatory species with Arapaima Gigas reaching record breaking weights thought to approach 180 kgs in addition to a multitude of other imported predatory species including Arowana, Redtail Catfish, Alligator Gar Barramundi and various Amazonian Sorubim species all attaining massive weights.
The Lake also contains various native predators with a large head of Chaophraya Catfish various Snakehead and Featherback species also present in its depths and such a high stocking density can be described as a highly prolific predator destination capable of producing large multiple captures on a regular basis. Throughout the days fishing you will be supplied with all live baits and terminal tackle, in addition fly fishing and lure fishing opportunities and will be accompanied by a guide throughout the day who will assist with all photographic and netting requirements in addition to any other angling requirements. At the end of the days fishing you will return to your accommodation by air-conditioned minibus.
