PERSONAL

My original fishing roots started with beach casting in the UK, living in Plymouth during part of my youth gave me access to many shore spots in the area. It wasn’t until the late 80’s early 90’s that I turned to fresh water & my first objective was carp. I have not looked back since. Having lived in Spain for over 20 years I have perused my fishing in this wonderful country. A whole new approach was necessary for success in this at times difficult environment. With the launch of my carp mail order company in 1996 it was necessary to back the business up by informing the Spanish angling public the in’s & out’s of Carp fishing & all the bits & pieces that go with it. At that time there wasn’t anything in Spanish press & the gap needed to be filled. This then led me on a fantastic journey to find & fish unknown Spanish venues rivers, lakes & natural lagoons. For this it was necessary to employ off road vehicles, canoes & motor boats. Many a failure had to be overcome but the successes can not be equalled, a fantastic adventure that continues to today. I have also been lucky enough to fish many times with some excellent anglers, such as John Bailey, Tony Davis Patrick, Johnny Jensen but to mention a few. I have travelled extensively & have lived in Spain, South America & been on many pioneer fishing expeditions in Africa. With my experience of both fishing & travel I will be more than happy to help angler’s fulfil their dreams in pursuit of some very special fish in the most exotic of locations.
